Compassion Meditation Exercise
by LG Happiness Project | August 27, 2020
Cultivating compassion for others, or even for yourself, can sometimes feel unnatural. But practicing compassion has such powerful social and emotional benefits that this sometimes-challenging exercise can be worth it in the long run.
Feeling compassion for yourself and others allows you to break down barriers that inhibit you from emotionally connecting to someone else. It’s not only important for the greater good, but worthwhile for your own health.
This meditation activity walks you through exercises to notice and recognize emotional discomfort or pain, either within yourself or in others.
